Some mac models (pre dating the M1(X) Processors, that has been upgraded to Monterey (mac OS 12.x) experiences problems with the built in web-camera. This manifests with the camera freezing after a few seconds of usage. 

We have only received reports of this problem, in combination with web camera model id: '0x8020000005ac8514'


The problem doesn't seem to exist with mac OS: Catalina(10.15) or Big Sur (11.x), so don't upgrade to Monterey after installing remote exam software.


The workaround is to use an external web-camera or another computer.
